  • The association « Amitié Strasbourg-Japon » was created in 1995 according to the 1901 French law as suggested by the ADIRA, the consulate of Japan in Strasbourg & the University of Strasbourg.

  • Its aim consists in facilitating the development of the friendship and exchanges between the Japanese people living in Strasbourg or elsewhere in Alsace and the local residents.

  • For reaching this aim, it organises activities gathering its members in order to present  the Alsacian cultural heritage or, more largely that one of the "Grand Est" region, as well as the Japanese cultural heritage.

  • The financial means of the association results from the annual contributions of its members and some donations.

  • The association transmits regularly useful information using its mail list as well as the present website. Such an  information is carefully selected.

  • Members of the  association organise periodically and occasionally activities or, from time to time, contribute to cultural manifestations in common with other associations. You may meet the program by clicking its categories (text color corresponding to that one the descriptions above).
